Privacy policy
Tools App is a set of free browser utilities operated by aumenso LLC. This policy explains what data exists when you use the site and what we do with it.

The short version
Every tool runs as JavaScript in your browser tab. What you paste, type or convert is never uploaded to a server and is never stored by us.
There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no saved workspaces.
We do not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts on this site.
Data that exists when you visit
Like any website, requests to Tools App pass through our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard technical data such as the requested URL, IP address, user agent and timestamp in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy terms.
We may use aggregate, cookie-free analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand which tools are used and how quickly pages load. These reports do not identify individual visitors.
Your theme choice (light or black and white) is stored in your browser's localStorage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
What we do not collect
We do not collect the content of tool inputs or outputs, because it never reaches our servers.
We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details, because the site has no accounts and no checkout.
We do not sell data. We have no data to sell.
Cookies
Tools App sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies when it challenges abusive traffic; those are controlled by Cloudflare.
If advertising is added in the future, this policy and the site will be updated before any advertising cookies are used, and consent will be requested where required.
Retention and your rights
Server logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short operational period and are not used to build profiles.
Because we hold no personal data about tool usage, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, write to [email protected] and we will respond.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honour those requests for any personal data we actually control.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
